Freshwater pearls are delicate and will easily scratch if stored next to other jewelry. To prevent damage always store your pearls in a jewelry pouch.

Simply wipe with a soft cloth, chamois or microfiber jewelry cloth either dry or damp, to remove any skin oils or dirt. A drop of olive oil on the cloth can be used to help maintain the luster.

Never clean your pearls with solutions that contain ammonia or harsh detergents. Don’t put pearl jewelry in an ultrasonic cleaner. Don’t use abrasive cleaners or rub pearls with abrasive cloth.
